Maybe Georgia will post a longer report. Quite a number of jeepers and others showed up for the clean up.

I led the group that did Dunkel Hollow, past the dam and up to flagpole. An awful mess from Hwy 33 almost to the dam. Then surprisingly clean all the way up the mountain. Goes to show, the people leaving litter aren't campers or wheelers. We don't leave many refrigerators, box springs or burnt out couches in the forest!

We were so busy working I didn't see many cameras, but there were a few and maybe people will post the pics.

Unfortunately, the junk trucks never did show up, so we had to improvise (without becoming illegal dumpers ourselves.) Don't know the full story on what happened with that. Maybe somebody can post up.

We had a diverse group of jeeps at Dunkel Hollow: J10, WJ, XJ, JK, TJ & 2 CJ's. Thanks Frank and Rick for leading us around. The pics don't show all of the interesting items.

We found an old fridge, but left it due to the fact that we didn't have a place to put it and it had a rather strong odor, right Aanen? Also found a couple of turn tables and several pull tab PBR cans plus a lot of Keystone Light cans, Basic cig packs and screw top wine bottles.

After spending an hour on the first 1/4 mile, we had the truck and WJ full. Another hour and another 1/4 mile, we decided to stay close the road.

There are decades of trash scattered down over the hillside. We could not possibly get it all.

We also spotted a running YJ.

Hey, Rick, thanks for all of your help and especially showing us Reddish Knob. Gonna put that on my regular route now. Hope you'll keep checking in on the Beltway Jeepers site.
